Attorney Nick AbouAssaly, spoke in front of a sold out crowd of 590 people at the 26th Annual Marion State of the City Address on Thursday, January 23. Mr. AbouAssaly was recently re-elected to serve his second term as Mayor in November of 2019. He spoke about how Marion's population has grown 18% in the last decade and what challenges that has presented. Recent projects in Marion include the construction of a 135,000 square-foot public services building, the Prospect Meadows Sports Complex and more than 28 miles of new streets.
