Nicholas Wilson is a litigation attorney practicing in the areas of appellate advocacy, business and commercial litigation, construction and design practice, and labor and employment law.
Mr. Wilson currently has experience working in the judicial chambers of four courts: Hon. L. Steven Grasz, United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit; Hon. Mark A. Roberts, United States District Court for the Northern District of Iowa; Hon. Lorie S. Gildea and Hon. G. Barry Anderson, Chief Justice and Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Minnesota; and, Hon. Robert B. Hanson, Iowa District Court.
Mr. Wilson graduated with honors, earning his J.D. and M.H.A., from the University of Iowa College of Law and College of Public Health in 2022. During law school, he served in the Iowa Legal Clinic, earning the Michelle R. Bennett Client Representation Award. He was a finalist of the Van Ooserhout-Baskerville Domestic Moot Court Competition, and a member of the Iowa Law National Moot Court team, winning the Midwest Regional Competition and competing in the New York City Bar Association’s National Moot Court Competition. He won top brief and top oralist awards. He served on the Transnational Law and Contemporary Problems Journal, and published his note on mental health care law. He further served as a legal researcher for the Iowa Supreme Court Access to Justice Commission.
Mr. Wilson grew up on his family’s farm in Greenbush, Minnesota. He earned his undergraduate degree in Journalism and Political Science in 2016 from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
