Attorney Eric Langston has joined the business and transactional practice of Simmons Perrine Moyer Bergman PLC. He has extensive experience in navigating the complexities of the bankruptcy process and helping clients explore restructuring alternatives. Additionally, he has experience working with condominium boards and home owners’ associations to resolve disputes with owners and evaluate strategic goals.
Mr. Langston was raised in Cedar Rapids. He earned his undergraduate degree, in Economics, from Knox College in 2007 and his JD from DePaul University, magna cum laude, in 2015. While in college, Mr. Langston was a member of the Mortar Board National Honor Society, the Order of Omega Greek Leadership Honor Society, DePaul Law Review Staff and the Order of the Coif.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Langston worked as an associate in Chicago, in the bankruptcy and restructuring group of Kirkland & Ellis, LLP. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he worked in the higher education industry for seven years as a data scientist.
Mr. Langston is licensed to practice law in Iowa and Illinois.
